The radio presenter welcomed her first child, a daughter called Nancy, last June, and went back to work just weeks after giving birth due to the freelance nature of her work

RTE star Bláthnaid Treacy returned to work just seven weeks after having a baby "because she had to,"

She shared that is was a difficult thing to do, but due to the nature of her work, she felt she had to. "I asked my colleagues in 2fm about how soon they went back, and Jen Zamparelli told me she took a short maternity leave on her first pregnancy, but for her second, she took the full nine months. I totally get that now."

"Nancy is so funny and the best part is getting to know her personality as the months progress" she shared.
