A bartender named Max Gutierrez is being praised for his selfless act when two women were being harassed at a bar. Max discreetly passed them a note offering help, which read: 'If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder, and I will have him removed. He's giving ME the CREEPS.'

A bartender has been hailed a "hero" after his selfless act when two women were faced with a "creepy" situation.

In a move so subtle others looking on would have had no idea, Max slipped the two women a clever note which read: "If this guy is bothering you, put your ponytail on your other shoulder, and I will have him removed. He's giving ME the CREEPS." Taking to Twitter to share a snap of the note, Trinity - who goes by the username @trinityallie - wrote: "This man was harassing me and my friend, and the bartender passed this note to me acting like it was my receipt! Legit the type of bartender everyone needs."

A number of Trinity's followers were left impressed with the no-nonsense way Max handled the situation, ensuring that the two young women felt safe and supported.Another applauded: "Bravo sir, way to protect your patrons. Bartenders take note this is customer service at its finest."
