Bambie Thug thinks they can win Eurovision: 'It'd be an amazing year for Cork'

The Cork native is set to perform their song Doomsday Blue at the competition on Saturday night, May 11.

Talking about the possibility of bringing the Eurovision home to Cork, they said she would love that. Bambie said: "It'd be an amazing year for Cork. Imagine Cillian Murphy gets the Oscar, and we get the Eurovision!" Bambie joked that fellow Cork man Cillian Murphy should encourage voters to give them their vote, saying: "Cillian Murphy, make everyone vote for me!"

When asked about controversy which has been unfolding around Israel's inclusion in the song contest, Bambie shared that they have fears for the impact it will have on the competition. "I'm fearful we'll miss a lot of votes because of the boycotting," Bambie said.
