Ashling Murphy vigil hacked by man exposing himself - ‘I am sick to my stomach’

Síle Ní Dhubhghaill, an organiser of the online Ashling Murphy vigil, has shared how horrified women were after it was hacked.

She explained that the host of the event kicked the intruder off the Zoom call but says that he kept trying to log back on. After the hacking, Sile shared that the meeting continued as the women wanted to pay respects to Ashling. “It was afterwards when the call ended, that it really hit us and we all got really, really upset. We were speaking together on our WhatsApp group and just incredulous.”
