Ant McPartlin shares update thanking fans after birth of his first baby

The Britain's Got Talent host, 48, was delighted last week after welcoming newborn Wilder with wife Anne Marie. Posting the news to Instagram, Ant shared a photo of himself holding his baby son as he showed off the tattoo on his arm. The TV stars tattoo had the names 'Amzie' , his stepdaughters Poppy and Daisy as well as the two Maltipoos he shares with Anne Marie - but no Hurley. Taking to X - formerly Twitter - today, he wrote: "Hey all, I just wanted to say thank You so much for the kind messages of love and well wishes for our baby Wilder. He’s doing great. Glad you loved the tattoo as well. For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn’t on the family tree..he was!! He was just covered by our newborn. All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks A.

He then posted a picture of the full tattoo, which had Hurley's name on a lower branch on the left. Fans flocked to congratulate him, with one writing: "Congratulations to you both, and the wider family on the new addition. You're gonna be knackered for those live shows!" It comes after it was revealed that Ant's ex Lisa Armstrong is prepared to battle for the custody of their beloved Labrador Hurley. Ant, who is taking parental leave in the wake of welcoming his first child, is prepared to fight for his hound after Lisa posted a photo of the dog on her Instagram along with the caption: "Mama's baby boy".
