While these are the last dates of posting, this year is like no other and we advise customers to post early,” the statement read.
For Christmas cards and parcels, An Post advises they be sent no later than December 22nd if you want them to reach an Irish address in time for Christmas. However if you’re post further afield you just send them by the 20th , 19th , the 12th for the US and the 7th for the rest of the world.An Post warns that international mail delivery times are estimates and subject to local postal operator delays.
Customers should note that there will be no mail delivery or collection from December 24th until December 28th, with mail delivery and collection services returning on December 29th.READ MORE
