Britain's Got Talent 's Amanda Holden and Alesha Dixon have reportedly won their battle for equal pay after it was revealed their male counterparts made double what they made to judge the show. But David Walliams, 49, reportedly earned a whopping £1.5million, more than double Amanda's salary for the exact same job and more than three times Alesha's.
It was alleged Amanda and Alesha were furious when they discovered their pay discrepancies, and demanded they be paid equally next year. A source told The Sun: “Alesha was rightly upset when she read the pay discrepancies in black and white. “Although Simon isn’t responsible for pay deals, he obviously has great sway and he has asked that the matter be investigated internally so that this sort of situation doesn’t arise again.”After Simon broke his back crashing an electric bike this year, he was forced to miss the recent series, with Amanda made head judge instead and Diversity star Ashley Banjo stepping in.
