Jack O’Connor’s side face the Rebels on Wednesday, 4 January, before hosting Clare the following Monday. Government plans a 50% reduction in food waste by 2023The Government has announced a road map for reducing food waste by 50% by 2030. This is one of the targets in the Climate Action Plan and is in line with a UN sustainable development goal to cut global food waste by half by 2030. Whenever somebody says 'by 2030' they mean 'never'. If the intention is to reduce food waste, start passing laws now. e.g. make it so most fruit / veg can be bought loose again without penalty if someone buys 1 thing instead of a pack of 3. Probably another levy, that always seems to work 🙄 It's there anything the government isn't trying desperately to control?
