While there have been open hostilities between Sinn Féin and the Greens, there may be an opportunity to form the next government. Here’s what party insiders think about that prospect. ✍️ DanielTMurray

In late February 2020, newly elected Green Party and Sinn Féin TDs met in the National Emergency Coordination Centre at the top of Agriculture House on Kildare Street in Dublin, determined to see if enough common ground could be found to form a government.

“We all trooped in there, with the Greens on one side and Sinn Féin on the other,” one Green Party TD recalled.
