Aer Lingus customers have been hit with more cancellations today travelling to and from Dublin Airport amid staff shortages.
According to the live flight information on the Dublin Airport website, there have been five outbound cancellations and four inbound flights scrapped impacting London, Berlin, and Hamburg passengers.The five Aer Lingus trips that won't be going ahead today from the capital include three London flights - scheduled for 7:30 am, 3:55 pm, and 8:15 pm - one Hamburg flight that was due to take off at 7:00 am, and a Berlin trip due to depart at 5:55 pm.
These cancellations will likely affect up to 1,500 customers, however, according to the Aer Lingus policy, each person will be re-accommodated. "This weekend, system pressures from ATC strikes, and ongoing issues at airports and among third-party suppliers have regrettably necessitated the cancellation of some flights.
