One of the major new trailers to hit the web this week was forAlready boasting a 93% score on Rotten Tomatoes following its premiere at the Cannes Film Festival earlier this year, it is described as a"genre-defying cinematic experience" that features never-before-seen concert footage of the music icon.
"Moonage Daydream is not a documentary. It is a genre-defying cinematic experience based on one of the most iconic and global rock stars of all time, destined to be one of the defining cultural moments of the year." Directed by Oscar-nominated filmmaker Brett Morgen, who previously helmed the acclaimed Kurt Cobain documentary Montage of Heck, Moonage Daydream was made with the full support of Bowie's estate and is said to feature many of the singer's greatest tracks.The film will be available to watch in IMAX from 16 September and in cinemas from 23 September.
