Kennedy expressed concerns that if both men were granted bail, the two accused will leave the State for the US and not be answerable to the charges before the court. Airport security is hugely important and it affects each and every citizen who resides in this State or who visits this State. I am satisfied that I have to refuse bail based on the seriousness of the alleged offences before the court. Judge Keane said that she noted that the two men have exemplary records and are veterans of the US defence forces.

Giving evidence of arrest, charge and caution, Garda Noel Carroll said that Kauff replied “not guilty” when charged and Mayers made no reply. Garda Carroll said that a cutter and gloves were found at a large hole in the airport security fence.

Norwegian to fly Boeing Dreamliner from Dublin to USNorwegian Air is to temporarily deploy a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to operate US flights from Dublin Airport to support customers affected by yesterday's decision to ground its Boeing 737 MAX planes. 157 people dead in a plane crash the other day and all the cheap prats at norweigan air can think about is using this tragedy as an excuse to fill their pockets , sad We were promised our flight from JFK - LGW would be on a Dreamliner. Flight cancelled. Had to pay overnight hotel ourselves (New York prices). Flew back next day, on basically a narrow body jet (think ryanair). Haven't flown with NorwegianUKI since, and won't again.
