68 further Covid-19 deaths have been confirmed, as well as 556 new cases

50 of these deaths occurred in February, 15 happened in January and two were in December. One remains under investigation.There has now been a total of 3,752 Covid-related deaths in Ireland, while the number of people who have tested positive stands at 204,940.

163 of today's cases are in Dublin, 45 are in Limerick, 38 are in Galway, 34 are in Cork and 29 in Waterford. The remainder were spread across all other counties, except for Leitrim. As of this afternoon, 1,212 people with Covid are in hospitals across the country, with 176 of them in the ICU. Earlier on Tuesday, the Department of Health in Northern Ireland reported that a further 275 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in the past 24 hours.it was announced earlier on Tuesday🎧 LISTEN: Eimear and Fergus are joined by Chris Henry to look back on Ireland's agonising loss to Wales, and discuss the upcoming clash with France.

Coronavirus: 68 deaths and 556 new cases confirmed in IrelandPublic health officials confirmed the latest figures this evening. Is it still worth all the lockdown crap for 68 deaths? RIP and sympathies to the deceased. On the numbers, that's a very promising number, especially for a Tuesday 👍 There was an average of 85 per day in 2019.
