No new deaths were reported on Tuesday , meaning that there has still been a total of 1,753 Covid-19Following the figures released on Tuesday, there has now been a total of 25,802 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the Republic.

Meanwhile, for the eighth consecutive day, no further coronavirus deaths were recorded in Northern Ireland, with the official death toll there remaining at 556.The 36 new cases represents a significant increase in new cases from the figures reported on Monday, which only saw six new cases confirmed.
