The Coombe Hospital in Dublin has apologised for failings in the care of Rosie Slevin and her mother in 2016

The now four-year-old sued through her parents Deborah and Kevin from Clareville Road, Harold's Cross in Dublin.

An apology was read in court on behalf of the Master of the Coombe, Michael O'Connell, in which he said he wished to express "our sincere apologies for the failings in relation to the care of Deborah and your daughter Rosie in our hospital. We accept that this should not have happened". Rosie's father Kevin told Mr Justice Kevin Cross they were happy with the settlement and said his daughter was "a beautiful little girl who lights up every face and every room".

And rightly so.

Please note that while the Hospital apologised not a single one of the incompetent medical staff who caused these lifetime problems CARE enough to do so. And the Good News? They're free to do the same thing again and again and again!!!
