The incident occurred at approximately 2.55am this morning

Gardaí are investigating following a single vehicle fatal road traffic collision that took place in the Cratloekeel area of Cratloe, Clare, on Tuesday 17 March.An 18-year-old man was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene which has been preserved for a technical examination.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for anyone with relevant information to contact them, particularly any road users who travelled in the area who may have dash cam footage. Anyone with information may contact Henry Street Garda Station on 061 212 400 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
