Ryanair carried 16 million passengers on just shy of 90,000 flights in April, up 13 per cent on the prior year.

The airline’s load factor, the number of seats that were filled compared to seating capacity, was 94 per cent last month.However, over 650 flights were cancelled due to French air traffic controller strikes, affecting around 118,000 passengers of the airline, Ryanair said.
