PT Bank Central Asia Tbk. (B BCA ) or BCA responds to the viral case of a customer in Salatiga who lost Rp68.5 million from his account through QRIS transactions. EVP Corporate Communication & Social Responsibility BCA , Hera F. Haryn, stated that they are still conducting further investigation.
"Regarding the incident that happened to one of our customers in Salatiga, we would like to inform that we are currently conducting further investigation," said Hera in her written statement received by CNBC Indonesia, quoted on Tuesday (14/11/2023). She continued by urging customers to maintain the confidentiality of important data, such as Personal Identification Number (PIN), One Time Password (OTP), Password, Response KeyBCA, Access Code, Card Verification Code (CVC), or Card Verification Value (CVV). BCA customer, Evita, recently lost Rp68.5 million from her account through QRIS transactions. She shared this unfortunate incident on Mr. Bert's YouTube channel
