Since opening her first vintage clothing store with Malcolm McLaren, manager of the Sex Pistols, on The King's Road in 1970, the designer has crossed styles and eras to become an iconic figure in the world of fashion. From British punk and the new wave movement, to bikers and the royal family,has always drawn inspiration from British history and culture, which she has enriched with political messages regarding the climate or the struggle for human rights.
