EU Delays Controversial Forest Products Law After Trade Concerns

The European Union has agreed to delay its controversial new law regulating forest products by a year after facing criticism from several countries and businesses over potential trade disruptions and harm to small farmers. The EU's executive branch aims to make the regulation applicable on December 30, 2025 for large companies and June 30, 2026 for smaller enterprises.
