Average new rentals downtown charge $2.75 per square foot, the report shows. That’s compared with $4.17 in Toronto and $4.86 in Vancouver, Brown notes. Yet the fact new projects are launching shows developers have “confidence” in the market, Brown says.Article content“It’s very much in the inner city, just one LRT station away from downtown,” says Edan Lindenbach, principal at Jemm Properties, the developer behind the new project.

Bridge also illustrates many trends among multi-family purpose-built projects, offering a large slate of amenities. Are Yeti coolers, tumblers and bags worth it? Tried, tested and reviewedShopping Essentials: Are Yeti coolers, tumblers and bags worth it? Tried, tested and reviewed What a terrible article. This reporter needs to do a real test and comparison. I actually prefer Rtic products as they keep things nice and cold for longer than I need. Rtic products are about half the price too. I have some Yeti products and they are fine but just not for the price.

Investors are trying to fill the multifamily rental housing gap and that's not a bad thingIf large financial firms and institutions are prevented from investing in multifamily rental housing, who else will pick up the tab? Hopefully they are thinking affordable high-rise housing within urban limits near amenities. This will help speed up the real estate natural flow & allow young to afford to build up capital & seniors to downsize opening up single homes. Less/no sprawl is good for cities & nature
