Much like the budget balancing itself, all those illegal guns will take care of themselves and respect the bans, the writer argues.

Now we have a ban on legal handguns. Add that to the ban on 1,500 models of legal registered rifles. Feel safe now? Don’t worry. Much like the budget balancing itself, all those illegal guns that are used in the vast majority of gun crimes will take care of themselves and respect the bans.

Never did I think common sense would leave Canada. Probably thought it was banned and took care of itself and disappeared. Maybe after the next election we can all say, “Canada is back” … to using common sense. I have to agree with Mr. Trudeau that he doesn’t think about monetary policy. The economy and inflation and the trillion-dollar debt attest to that. I guess the only question left to answer about PM Justin Trudeau, is this: Is there anything he can’t screw up? So far he is batting over .900 and climbing. Hate to see the bill when he is finally gone. Maybe my great, great, great, grandchildren will start to see the end of paying the tab. Nobody alive today will see the Trudeau debt paid off.

Not sure Mr. Abbott is familiar with baseball if he thinks batting .900 is a bad thing, but otherwise well said. Indeed, there’s nothing the Trudeau Liberals can’t screw up, and now we get to watch them blame PAL/RPAL holders yet again when his ban does nothing to reduce crime.

Safer streets needed now in Toronto after drivers hit 3 pedestrians in 3 hours: advocateMore must be done now to make Toronto’s roads safer for pedestrians, says one safe streets advocate, after three people were hit by drivers while walking in this city Wednesday morning. Yes, roads are dangerous, don't assume drivers see you or will stop even if they do. Be aware of your surroundings. Vehicles will beat pedestrians everytime. I don’t know the background with these latest accidents but in a great number of these situations, it’s the pedestrian that is at fault. There are impaired and distracted drivers but many of these are the result of peds not crossing at the corne, wearing dark clothing etc. Maybe pedestrians should look up instead of down at their phones.
