Woman faces eviction from home of 36 yearsA Toronto woman says she is being evicted from her home of 36 years because her mother has died. Also, if TCHC can do the same to tenants in similar scenarios, I doubt a private landlord will back off if it means they can charge market rate after evicting her. This needs change to law but certainly won’t be from Doug Ford. They paid under market value for many years by the sounds of it.
