Last Updated Thursday, November 21, 2019 1:44PM ESTTORONTO -- Police in Ontario are reminding the public to avoid dialing 911 to report non-emergency situations after a woman called to ask if she could get an “emergency ride service” to the train she was running late for.
“Being late for a trip is never ideal,” officers with Peel Regional Police wrote in a tweet on Thursday morning. “Calling 911 to ask the police to act as an ‘emergency’ ride service, to get you there on time? Yeah… not gonna happen.” The conversation, which was posted in full in the tweet, started with the 911 operator asking if the caller needed assistance from police, fire or an ambulance.
The caller then responded saying, “This is in terms of an officer… I’m supposed to have a trip to Union Station. The ride was supposed to show up for me this morning did not and I don’t know how you guys work with services in terms of that because I’m in a taxi right now but it’s not going to get me to the station on time for my train to board at 9:45 a.m.

Loser. Wth.
She just won the Nobel peace prize an Oscar and the Darwin Award all the same time.
Every time someone calls 911 and it’s not emergency related - like this for example they caller should be located and fined heavily...
Millennials. 🙄
Some people's kids lol.
This is a great example of the snowflake generation, I am sure she called 911 after she wasn’t able to get her mom to drop everything and give her a ride.
and these are the smart ass millennials...that go around saying 'ok boomer'. I fear for our country in the few years. ps FireJessAllen
It's amazing how out-of-touch millennials are...the future looks bleak
Misuse of 911 should be automatic fine.
Ok, Millennial.
This call is from the same girl that voted for Trudeau in the last election, and you wonder why Canada is in the mess it is? Look who's in Otrawa, who put him there? These kind of voters.
At least it wasn’t an amber alert complaint... WhatIsWrongWithPeople
🤦♂️
For her absolute ignorance she should be fined big $$$!!! People are absolutely ridiculous and should be fined every time they call this emergency hotline with similar/stupid requests like this. What planet has she been living on🤔🤔🤔
Charge her!!! People are absolutely ridiculous and should be charged a fine every time they call this emergency hotline with similar/stupid requests like this.
Need a ride right to jail
She might be getting confusing messages because her last call to 911 was to complain about the amber alert waking her.
She should have called the train station to hold the train till she got there
Charge her!
Stupid person to even think she’s entitled to such a service, emergency is for a real emergency and yours clearly is not! Should be fined to teach a lesson to her
Is this one planning on parenting?
What a kook.
How dumb can one be?
Trudeau Voter
Must live in a condo!!

The caller needs to be punished. 911 isn't a joke.
Only in Toronto....
This is unfortunately hilarious !!!
Reverse Darwinism: Survival of the most idiotic.
SERIOUSLY? I hope she gets a fine. Unbelievable! Who brought this ignoramous up
She should be fined and given an hour-long course in what is emergency and what is not. Her idiocy is both shocking and sad.
How could anyone call 911? How is this an emergency? Caller should be fined.
Come on, really
Wow
Sounds like she really doesn’t understand how things work 👌
Is there really a generation that doesn't know what 911 is for? They think it's a form of uber?
Oh brother 😞
The shade 😮
🤣🤣
I feel sorry for her employer.
I asked for 'a dozen donuts, mixed please' at a local Tim Horton's and the 20'ish young man looks at me and cocks his head and asks 'you want 6'? The level of ignorance these days has reached epic levels. YIKES
😂😂😂
well, that would be one way to fund more police ... rofl
How is this possible? Here is the telephone, and here are the three digits you call in case of an emergency. You only call this number when you need fire, police, or ambulance.
Idiot society
And it will NEVER stop unless someone is heavily fined for it, AND it is publicized. Wondering what the police are waiting for? Will the judges not support it? Hmmmmm
BonolloNichole, listen to this nut bar. I hope police fine her big $$$. Bless this 911 operator.
That reminds me of that little boy calling 911 to help him with his math homework. LOL
kate13430708 wait ! You don’t do this
😂👏🏽
Unreal !
Millennials
She needs an emergency ride straight to jail for the a day
Was she under the influence? 🙄😞sad so sad
She must have been brought in a dizney butterfly daycare.
How have we as a society gotten to a place where things like this happen? SMH.
I really hope this woman is fined for the call. Heavily fined.
Oh my goodness, I hope she wasn't late for the brain surgery she was performing.
Entitled...self absorbed! Immature! Snowflakes! And toronto is full of them.
'I don't know how you guys operate.' What the Hell, have you been living under a rock for the last 100 years?!?! Movies, TV, books all talk about 911 as a service for health, fire, or crime prevention. Emergency ride service... she should be given an emergency ride to court.
🤦🏼♀️
Just fucking wow.
