Sudbury wins second consecutive game over Niagara, securing 7-2 road victory

The Sudbury Wolves were in St. Catharines for a Thursday night rematch against the Niagara IceDogs, after the Wolves defeated that same Niagara team in Sudbury just six nights prior.

At 2:18 of the second period, Sudbury native Alex Pharand scored his second goal of the season to break the scoreless tie and give the Wolves a 1-0 lead on the road. There wasn’t any more scoring until the 14:57 mark of the second period when André Anania scored his first goal of the season to increase the Wolves’ lead to 3-1, which is where the teams stood with one period remaining.
