Winnipeg’s Bear Clan Patrol, a group that walks the streets to help curb crime, also runs a food bank that feeds thousands – and says it needs help to keep that project alive.

James Favel, who re-started the Winnipeg Bear Clan Patrol in 2015, said people they help protect have begun regularly asking his volunteers for food.
