How will NHL coaches be impacted by the COVID-19 shutdown? jtbourne thinks they'll be more prepared than ever.

I’ll let Colorado’s Jared Bednar put a cap on those thoughts, from an interview he gave SN a few weeks back:

“Putting together numbers, like where you’re at with your goal scoring, and you get analytics coming at ya all the time too in the regular season, but you just don’t have a lot of time to dig into some more extended projects that might be able to help your team, say, down the stretch run or in the playoffs for this year. I dug into a couple things over the break, some special teams stuff, some 5-on-5 things, started comparing some numbers and taking a look at a few things.
