Whitney Houston, Notorious B.I.G. set for Rock Hall induction

NEW YORK -- Years after their deaths, Whitney Houston, the Notorious B.I.G. and T. Rex's Marc Bolan will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The Rock Hall's annual induction ceremony was originally supposed to take place in May at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, the city where the rock museum is located, but things changed because of the coronavirus pandemic. Instead, HBO will air a taped special airing Saturday at 8 p.m. EST, with big names like Bruce Springsteen, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Alicia Keys making appearances alongside some of the inductees.

The death of Bolan in 1977 ended British band T. Rex, known primarily for its 1970s hit "Bang a Gong " and, to a lesser extent, "Jeepster."

B.I.G produced only 2 albums and died at 24. Hardly seems a career warranting R&R hall of fame status. Who is doing voting? Thier record producers?

What part of ROCK music do they fall under...whitney was a greatsinger/artist but not a rocker...RRHOF need to change the name of that building and Award.

Not exactly names anybody associates with rock.

Because nothing says rock like B.I.G. I love all his rock and roll tracks. And he just did so much for rock history.
