VANCOUVER — Midfielder Fidel Barajas assisted on a pair of second-half goals as Real Salt Lake rallied for a 2-1 Major League Soccer victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps Saturday night.

Striker Anderson Julio tied the match in the 70th minute then defender Alexandros Katranis gave Salt Lake the lead six minutes later.

The Whitecaps drop to fourth place in the Western Conference with seven points. Vancouver had eight points after four games in both the 2014 and 2012 seasons with 2-0-2 records.Kreilach scored in the 33rd minute after striker Brian White threaded a pass through a couple of Salt Lake defenders. He beat goalkeeper Zac MacMath with a left-footed shot from the centre of the box.

Juilo made it 1-1 when he took a pass from Barajas, fought off a Vancouver defender, and beat goalkeeper Yohei Takaoka with a low, hard shot.
