Three-quarters of Canada's major cities saw an increase in average rent prices for a one-bedroom apartment month-over-month in July, according to one rental platform. With prices in Canada steadily increasing, CTVNews.ca has gathered a list of apartments currently available for rent across the country.

for the month of June, according to data released by Statistics Canada on Wednesday. With the price of goods and services on a steady incline, Canadians are also seeing a rise in the average price of rental units across most major cities.

According to Zumper, a rental listing platform, three-quarters of major Canadian cities included in thesaw an increase in average rent prices for a one-bedroom apartment month-over-month. In Vancouver, for example, the average price of a one-bedroom unit reached $2,300 per month in July, the highest price for a single-bedroom apartment in the country. Rental units in Toronto had the second highest average price per month at $2,100 for a one-bedroom unit. The average price of a two-bedroom apartment in the country’s most populous city is $2,700 per month. Rounding out the top five most expensive markets in Canada is Burnaby, B.C., Victoria, B.C. and Oshawa, Ont.

Future has become futuristic for many people in Canada! Renting indefinitely! Carrying grocery bags forever! What a life! Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' aliiiiiiiiiiiiiive!

4 over 1.5 years, some people lost their chance 2 contribute towards their retirement plans, even though they were taught time is money! Education got hit hard &new generations lost least proper education! What is the meaning of life experience 4 new generations? Going online?

As always, the honourable chimpanzee politicians/policy makers set policies, as they still have their job, with full benefits, and contributing towards their retirement plan, yet many ordinary people's lives are affected by such policies! The problem is within the system itself!

The %1 cleverly used this COVID saga by muzzling scientists who introduced such extreme lock down measures around the world. The chimpanzee politicians virtually set policies 4 controlling the word better than before! Sorry social justice seekers!

As always, food corporations such as Loblaws, Sobeys (the thieves) & Walmart benefited the most from this 'COVID-19' saga, soaring prices and taking an advanatge for racking up profit from people's pockets!
