From WolstatSun: What the Indiana Pacers could offer Toronto Raptors for Pascal Siakam.

Plus, the Pacers just spent a top-10 pick on Jarace Walker, a big man who enters the NBA with some of the same strengths and weaknesses as Siakam .

Still, any team would improve with Siakam and Haliburton — somewhat surprisingly — does not get the usage as you might expect. Haliburton was just 63rd in usage last season, far behind not only Siakam but also 15 other point guards. He could use some help and Siakam can provide it.Article content Siakam makes $37.8 million, so the first task of any deal is finding enough salary to make it work. With Turner not involved, that leaves veteran sharp-shooter Buddy Hield, who is due $19.2 million before becoming a free agent .

Toronto would likely covet second-year swingman Bennedict Mathurin — last year’s sixth overall selection, who is just 21 and hails from Montreal — the rookie Walker, fellow Canadian Andrew Nembhard and first-round picks. It’s hard to see the Pacers parting with Mathurin, whom they love, particularly not unless Siakam agrees to commit to the team long-term.
