“This study confirms other studies demonstrating the importance of walking speed on mortality and other cardiovascular outcomes,” he said in aThe study looked at the walking habits and heart health of 25,183 mobile and postmenopausal women, aged 50 to 79. When the researchers followed up with them after approximately 17 years, 1,455 women said they had been hospitalized for heart failure.

Logically it makes sense. If you sustain a higher speed you get more cardiovascular exercise. Weird how it’s only women though.

Oh you mean exercising to increase your heart rate for health. Pity that gyms were closed. Not everyone goes for a walk outside during Canadian winter.
