Environment Canada is forecasting plenty of sunshine this weekend for Metro Vancouver.

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Friday, April 26. Today’s weather looks mainly sunny but windy, with winds gusting up to 50 km/h near the water, and a high of 14 C, according to Environment Canada. The agency says some clouds will roll in later in the day and there is a slight chance of some overnight showers. Saturday also looks mainly sunny and windy, with a high of 13 C, and wind gusting to 30 km/h in many parts of the region. Closer to the Strait of Georgia, gusts could reach 70 km/h.

Weather: Vancouver, B.C. Today: Sunny. Becoming a mix of sun and cloud this afternoon. Wind west 20 km/h except 50 near the water this morning. High 14 C. UV index 5 or moderate. Tonight: Mainly cloudy, with a 30 per cent chance of showers overnight. Wind becoming northwest 20 km/h near midnight except 50 near the Strait of Georgia overnight. Low 6 C.

Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. Wind northwest 30 km/h except 50 to 70 near the Strait of Georgia in the morning and early in the afternoon. High 13 C. UV index 6 or high.Traffic: Lower MainlandZoom in and out to to find incidents of note or to peek at a traffic camera.
