Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting some showers, but also some sunny breaks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, while the holiday Monday looks rainy.

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Friday, May 17. Happy unofficial start to the long weekend, Metro Vancouver. Friday morning will likely begin with showers, but that should clear up for a mix of sun and cloud, and a high of 17 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Overnight, there’s a chance of showers redeveloping, and a low of 11 C. Saturday’s weather also looks like a mixed bag.

UV index 6 or high.Tomorrow: A mix of sun and cloud, with a 30 per cent chance of showers early in the morning. High 19 C except 23 C inland.
