VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Canucks have signed a trio of free agents, including former Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk.
The team announced the deals as the NHL's free agency period opened Monday, saying DeBrusk has inked a seven-year contract that carries an annual-average value of US$5.5 million.
Originally picked 14th overall by Boston in the 2015 draft, the six-foot-one, 198-pound forward has spent all seven seasons of his NHL career with the Bruins, putting up 138 goals and 128 assists across 465 regular-season games.Vancouver also signed forwards Danton Heinen and Keifer Sherwood, and defenceman Derek Forbort on Monday.
