Wilson had two great races over the weekend, earning medals in both. In the 60-metre dash, the third-year sprinter from Cornwall, P.E.I., captured silver after posting a time of 6.99, just 3/100 of a second behind the gold medalist. Wilson also earned a bronze medal as part of UPEI’s 4x200-metre relay team. The Panthers clocked in at 1.35.04.

“Zach is a true leader in our UPEI track and field program as he plays the roles of team captain, star athlete, and assistant coach,” said head coach Colin MacAdam. “He had a great weekend leading our men’s 4x200m relay team to a bronze medal before getting a silver medal in the 60 metres.” It has been our privilege to have the trust and support of our East Coast communities for the last 200 years.
