Any remaining vaccine mandates are completely about ideology. Vaccines do little and Covid is far more mild than it was in the past few years. Also, vaccinated or unvaccinated is a false dichotomy. Recovery from Covid also matters.

It's a deliberate policy designed to identify, and then exclude, political opponents of the regime. The US Govt is making a point by barring such people from the country (it would do the same to US citizens if it could get away with it). Same goes for Canada.
