We finally made it to the Polish border," she said. The family of three finally made it to a refugee camp in Poland where they started their application under CUAET."I'm so excited, as if I am five years old and it's Christmas and Santa Claus is coming with this gift to come to Canada," Zaporozhets said.

"I want to live and know that tomorrow I will wake up and be alive, and wouldn't have to take my whole family to bomb shelter every three hours. I want to live like a normal human being."Ottawa announced starting next week, those approved under CUAET will have access to chartered flights to Canada."It's too expensive and a hard quest for us. What about Canadians who are struggling with inflation and high gas prices

Then let all Ukranian come to canada and leave Ukraine to the russian!!!

120,000 are also unvaccinated and have more rights than us Canadians to come and go.

Can’t house the people we have now yet we’re continuing to bring people in… Why?

Curious that the US can’t help all of them with a fraction of the $54B sent there for arms. Think about that, and why they are really involved in a non-NATO war, and where that money ends up.

The federal public service is a model of agility and efficiency. sarcasm Federal ministers should start be concerned that the public service is sabotaging the actioning of their directives.

Getting fast-tracked by Freeland

Yes this is sad, I have been in contact with Ukrainians waiting on Canada. Our government is painting a picture of “all is well and good” when things are backed up , slow ,confusing and frustrating for those Ukrainians looking to come to Canada !

Good luck being able to afford rent here! Lmfao go to the USA!

Funny because my PR card has been delayed and when I asked they said they are prioritizing Ukrainians over PR renewals. Now stuck in another country because their visa centre only open 2 days, and website gives opposite instruction to IRCC

So are 1/2 million from other countries. Get in line.

Is it the reason why Canadian pay the highest tax in the world? It is a great country, for the refugees. LOL

So many came from war torn countries in the middle east and were given permanent status. Ukrainians get vises which will expire. Ukrainians are too white and too conservative. They would not vote liberal canada onpoli racism housing

Wtf they all gonna live?

Go to the US at least you will have the chance of being free

Don't come us Canadians don't have money for charity cases

Why u need money in Ukraine you stand at corner make easy money

good luck with finding a home
