GlobeBC I don't agree with captivity but I also don't believe these beautiful creatures are safe returned to the jungle where they're hunted and/or have their habits destroyed by development. Even in protected areas they routinely suffer from poachers.

Costs will exceed $7 B + to build skytrain to UBC . This should have been built in early 80's when a dollar was a dollar...and might have been completed for under $3 B . If Vancouver is given another line & TransLink & Mayor's Counsel dysfunction is allowed to rob and misspend u have quit. 2nd biggest city 540k with nothing but driving. This is fast ferry 💰being wasted. Quit pretending okay? TransLink and Mayor's Counsel is a broken dysfunctional system that serves the few and misappropriates resources. At sometime a govt has stand up for have nots. NDP and Surrey MLA need to intervene. SurreyNowLeader Vancouver does not get anymore lines until there is parody.

Daily Poll: Do you agree SkyTrain is the best option out to UBC?The TransLink Mayors’ Council will discuss an endorsement of SkyTrain on Thursday. Who enjoys waiting around for a skytrain, then get off and go wait on another mode of transportation and visa versa? Skytrain is the most efficient and least intrucive to vehicle traffic. The look at king George skytrain station ... do you think people would prefer to stay on the skytrain and go to Langley or continue to get off and take a bus ... or light rail as your poll is asking? Obviously the residents of Surrey stated loud and clearly what they prefer. Skytrain all the way to UBC is the only mode that makes sense.
