A U.S. man has earned himself a Guinness World Record for his ‘Ghostbusters’ memorabilia collection, one that spans 30 years of nostalgia, just in time for Halloween.

The plush toy was a must-have accessory for “Ghostbusters” fans like Robert O’Connor after the film was released in 1984. Now that Stay Puft marshmallow man sits proudly with O’Connor’s Guinness World Record setting collection of “Ghostbusters” memorabilia.

“My actual collection exceeds about four or five thousand items,” O’Connor said. “There’s a difference between what a collector considers memorabilia and what Guinness considers memorabilia.” “Believe it or not, a lot of my collecting is from spending $5, $10, $15 here and there. My biggest purchase was the Ecto Glows. I spent U.S.$250 for the set of five of them,” O’Connor said.
