“We are confident that our proactive steps to plan for the evolution of the cannabis business in each of our markets has positioned Tilray Brands to be at the forefront of the industry on a global basis while delivering profitability and driving shareholder value,”Simon says he believes that federal legalization in the U.S.

“Over the last 3.5-plus years, [cannabis] contributed about $20 billion in taxes, over 150,000 jobs, about $6 billion in infrastructure that has been built out,” he said.Article content With an eye on the U.S., Simon added that Tilray will continue to make its way down the “acquisition trail” and look for additional businesses to “fold in within Tilray brands.”to create one of the largest cannabis companies in the industry, with a market cap of about US$8.2 billion at the time of the deal.
