The latest fatalities include two people over the age of 80, bringing the provincial death toll from the virus to 57 since the pandemic's start.Of those, three people were admitted due to COVID-19, and five others were admitted for other reasons and tested COVID-positive on or after admission.on Sept. 6, the province also reported 443 new cases of COVID-19 detected over the past seven days, meaning P.E.I. has found an average of 63 cases per day.As of Aug.
