Ontario Provincial Police say they found suspected fentanyl and crystal methamphetamine

Ontario Provincial Police pulled over a vehicle in the 600 block of Trunk Road just after 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 29.

They say a search of the vehicle turned up over 230 grams of suspected fentanyl, over 20 grams of suspected crystal methamphetamine, a digital scale, packing material, cell phones and over $7,100 in Canadian currency.He appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice Video Bail on Friday, June 30 and was remanded into custody.He is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice on August 14.

None of the allegations have been tested in court and both men are considered innocent unless proven guilty.
