Florida governor has declared ship, which held 248 Canadians, unwelcome

The cruise ship MS Zaandam, where passengers have died on board, navigates through the pacific side of the Panama Canal, in Panama City, Panama, as the coronavirus disease outbreak continues, March 29, 2020.U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday urged Florida officials to open an Atlantic Coast port to a Dutch cruise ship stuck at sea with a deadly coronavirus outbreak onboard, urging the governor to drop his opposition.

The Zaandam, idled off the Pacific coast of Central America after the cruise line announced that some passengers were infected with coronavirus and that four had died, was allowed to sail through the Panama Canal into the Caribbean on Sunday. “We cannot afford to have people who aren’t even Floridians dumped into South Florida using up those valuable resources,” DeSantis told Fox News on Monday, referring to the state’s medical facilities. He told a news conference on Monday he preferred to send medical help to the Zaandam.

The Zaandam and Rotterdam were still about two days away from Port Everglades, and could arrive no earlier than Thursday night, Udine said.

Trudeau gambled with our lives, leaving Borders open, not stopping planes from China, North Korea, Italy & Iran. Trudeau gambled by sending medical equipment to China, we now need. Trudeau gambled with is WHO support and staff. GlobeDebate If he is right, that total US deaths will equal the annual influenza death total, then maybe that puts this whole thing in perspective. RIP Joe Diffe. GlobeDebate Imagine if our media was as critical of Trudeau as they are Trump...

Trump extends virus guidelines, braces U.S. for big death tollBracing the nation for a death toll that could exceed 100,000 people, U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday extended restrictive social distancing guidelines through April, bowing to public-health experts who presented him with even more dire projections for the expanding coronavirus pandemic. Too late with the life jackets already been hearing about it before crossing the ocean to Wall St. Media TV. Who votes for excuses & pot shots from a guy that still hasn't found Obama's birth certificate? King of bankruptcy and foreclosures comes every 1000 years. I think in the circumstances Donald Trump is keeping it all together and doing a great job.
