Trudeau took a poke at Ford during a virtual Liberal fundraiser Wednesday night with Procurement Minister Anita Anand, who is in charge of securing vaccines for Canada.
Until now, wary of further production interruptions like those that delayed Canada's supply of vaccines in February, Trudeau has been unwilling to go beyond his months-old promise that all Canadians who want a vaccine will get one by the end of September. "We do not have enough vaccines from the federal government and it's a joke," Ford complained, accusing Trudeau's government of "dropping the ball majorly."
"I said, 'No, no, Doug, you can count on that, we're going to get them because Anita has told me we will,"' Trudeau said.

The Feds and Provinces all failed! I can accept that procurement is impacted by the fact we don’t produce vaccines in Canada. But the rollout is a joke! Provinces had a year, since last March to work on a roll-out. Could have developed and practiced/drills for months prior.
Both are sad examples of leadership. Now they’re just fighting over who the unlucky one will be first overall
Ford’s finger pointing is not working for most Ontarians. We are not fooled. It will never be a substitute for leadership!!
These two need to collaborate on vaccine reducing hesitancy, the real problem. Why are they squabbling about who was “less bad” on the vaccine front instead? This helps no one, failing less bad than someone else isn't success.

Hard to think Trudeau did a good job on procuring vaccines when Canada has given a shot to only 14 out of 100 people and sits in about 67th place globally.
Only Justin would praise such a dismal performance on vaccines as an “incredible” job after over 20,000 Canadians have died and people die every day because of lack of vaccines.

No matter what Feds say, there is not enough vaccine coming into Canada to vaccinate the pop fast enough. One dose by Sept is not good enough. We need 2 doses sooner than 4 mos apart or risk that the first doses were wasted, especially for 65+ due to weaker immune systems.
Good. All fordnation does is point fingers and blame others. Come to think of it, that's all any Concervative government does. Why are they like this? It's infuriating because we absolutely need a balance of Concervatism and Liberalism. But Concervatives have become a joke!
