Deadbeat tenants are the worst. It can take over a year to get rid of them sometimes. Can you imagine your employer withholding your paycheque for months while you still have all your bills to pay?
Most landlords I know in my medium size town are using properties and rent for a retirement fund. They are not by any means rich. Pretty simple, pay your rent or GTFO! Landlords don't owe you charity...
