With the off-season departures of Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green, the Raptors aren't being seen as a legitimate threat to go back-to-back. According to an annual survey of NBA general managers, that is.

With Kawhi Leonard and Danny Green both leaving for Los Angeles in the summer, theNBA.com’s annual general manager’s survey“The GMs responded to 50 different questions about the best teams, players, coaches, fans, and off-season moves,” the survey explained. “General managers were not permitted to vote for their own team or personnel. Percentages are based on the pool of respondents to that particular question, rather than all 30 GMs.

The Raptors have earned home-court advantage in the opening round of the playoffs in each of the past six years, although these results illustrate that GMs don’t even feel home-court advantage is a given for Nick Nurse’s group this time around. • Canadian Jamal Murray was among the leading vote-getters for the player most likely to have a breakout season. The 22-year-old Denver Nuggets guard averaged a career-high 18.2 points, 4.8 assists and 4.2 blocks per game in the regular season then averaged 21.3 points over 14 playoff contests. Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox led the poll with 19 per cent of the vote heading into his third season.

• Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James isn’t the most popular player in the NBA at the moment, and for good reason, but he was voted the league’s best passer as well as the player with the best basketball IQ.

Raptors

Raptors Jealous! The managers who think that! Your wives probably want Ibaka to cook for them , when their not home!! And look at him like👇

Raptors Kawhi going...yeah, that’s gonna hurt big time. But Danny Green, while he was a steady veteran presence on the team, his shot was either there?..or not. He went through a huge dry spell with the Raps. Love the guy, but will his absence be a deal-breaker next season? Not so much.

Raptors

Raptors Danny Green missed so many crucial point shots in the series against GS Warriors, that he was eventually benched on purpose ............. glad he is gone, a true non-factor for this year's team

Raptors Perfect for Raptors. Lots of extra motivation to succeed.

Raptors' Siakam a symbol to rest of league of what's possible in Toronto - Sportsnet.caWhat better advertisement for the franchise’s development culture could the Raptors have than Pascal Siakam’s journey from projected journeyman to likely all-star in the space of four seasons? He is their future, and some time between now and Monday night, the betting is they’ll jump into it together with both feet. michaelgrange Raptors Folks, I love Pascal. I hope he does continue to improve and becomes an upper echelon player in the league. But when we look at his ceiling, do we honesty believe he’s the guy who will take the Raps back to the promised land? I’m not buying it (and I hope I’m wrong). Raptors michaelgrange
