Toronto Pearson seeing 'measurable improvements' following weeks of delays

The Greater Toronto Airports Authority , the organization that oversees operations Toronto Pearson International Airport, held a news conference on Friday to update the public on transit hub’s progress.

Those improvements are being seen specifically in metrics related to security wait times, flight delays, cancellations, and baggage delivery. Passengers who have recently arrived at Pearson from travel abroad may have been asked to wait on the tarmac due to delays at customs. Flint said that process is also seeing an improvement due to an increase in the number of Canada Border Services Agency officers at the border.

Bags are also getting back to their owners three minutes faster for international travellers and four minutes faster for transborder passengers.

Tell that to my AirCanada plane that’s been delayed 4 times today and currently sitting at the gate with mechanical issues, TorontoPearson is the worst for a reason!

Weeks of delays and now at a reduced capacity for arrivals and departures and they're still only 44% on time. Is it time the GTAA was removed from Pearson? I believe it is
