JEREMY FRASER/CAPE BRETON POST.SYDNEY, N.S. – The Cape Breton High School Soccer League announced its annual award winners for the 2022 season on Wednesday.
The first all-star team consists of goalkeeper Yannis Huber along with defenders Andrew Dalzell , and Joey Donohue as well as midfielders Jacek Marmulak , Luc Sampson , Ben Kearney and Iven Gouthro . The strikers were Wadden, Mats Lilienthal , Noah Hutchison-Mills and Lucas Burke . The rookie of the year honours went to Ava MacDonald of Riverview. The first-year player led the league in goals and was a key to the club’s success during the regular season.
The first all-star team featured goalkeeper Leanne Laidlaw along with defenders Tierney, Julia MacKinnon and Catie Chiasson , as well as midfielders Sadie Parnaby , Caelan Binder and Emmy Donovan . The strikers were MacDonald, Kylie Jessome and Isabella White .
