The Yarmouth Jr. A Mariners left Yarmouth, N.S. on the evening of Monday, May 8, on the first leg of their trip to Manitoba for the Centennial Cup. The team arrived in Manitoba on May 9, after a morning flight from Halifax. The Mariners will open their Centennial Cup play on May 11 in a game against the defending Centennial Cup champions – the Brooks Bandits from the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
